Privately owned by Martin and Brigitte Skan, who have developed it from a 12 bedroom Hotel into one of the worlds leading country house hotels with 59 rooms and suites, Chewton Glen offers a wonderful destination for those on a quest for pampering and relaxation.

Location

A tranquil and very English setting in 130 acres of immaculate sweeping lawns, wood and parkland, Chewton Glen is 90 miles southwest of London between the ancient New Forest and the sea.

Accommodation

There are just 59 Guest Rooms & Suites with Terrace or Balcony. Rooms on the ground floor overlook the golf course or upper floors overlooking the gardens. All Rooms include en-suite bathroom with double basins, king or twin Beds, Trouser Press, Safe, Satellite TV, CD System, Hairdryer, Bathrobe & Slippers, and Molton Brown Toiletries. Both master suites are located in the original part of the building and have beautiful views of the golf course and gardens, with elegant sitting rooms, spacious bedrooms and granite bathrooms.     

Spa

The award-winning spa Chewton Glen Spa has recently undergone a major transformation including the addition of a magnificent hydrotherapy pool. There are over 50 body and facial treatments to choose from using Clarins, Thalgo and Guinot products. The spa offers every fitness facility with a state-of-the-art gym and detailed advice from qualified instructors. The Total Holistic Body Therapy is a signature treatment for total relaxation and begins with a full body scrub, followed by a massage, mini facial and scalp massage. Another signature spa treatment, the two-hour Thai Yoga massage, is designed to relieve tension and restore balance to the system. This involves lying on the floor in loose clothing as the therapist works to release blockages through pressure point massage. The treatment finishes with a wonderfully soothing face massage. The main emphasis at the spa is on relaxation, pampering and harmony of the mind, body and spirit.
